The following excerpt is a recapitulation of GBI's mid-term progress report, in particular the details of the results of the pre-survey conducted in advance of the actual survey.

PRE-SURVEY PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

In order to obtain and gather the most useful responses for KAERI’s objectives, GBI conducted an initial and experimental “pre-survey.” This initial step was undertaken to determine how best to shape the overall survey, the survey questions, and target interviewee list, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of various methodologies and data collection techniques.
